Description

Million Dollar Lasagna is a rich, creamy, layered pasta bake that tastes indulgent, comforting, and perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Pasta & Meat Sauce

  • 12 lasagna noodles

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2428 oz marinara sauce

  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Creamy Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Topping

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Extra Parmesan for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles until just al dente. Drain and lay flat.

  2. Prepare the meat sauce
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Make the creamy cheese mixture
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, ricotta cheese, sour cream, egg, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth and fully combined.

  4. Assemble the lasagna
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

    • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom

    • Add a layer of noodles

    • Spread a portion of the creamy cheese mixture

    • Add meat sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella
Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and mozzarella on top.

  5. Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.

  6. Rest and serve
Let the lasagna rest for 15 minutes before slicing for clean layers.
